The Awards ceremony was attended by Sheikha Sheikha Al Sabah Honorary Chairman of Kuwait Sports Club for Handicapped, Sabeeka Al-Jasser President of the Kuwait Foundation for Disabled Children, Aisha Al Salem, Director of Al Kharafi Activity Kids Centre, Ibrahim Al Fouzan Vice Chairman Al-Sayer Group Holding CSR Committee, Bader Faisal Al-Sayer Deputy Marketing Manager along with other distinguished guests and participants of the award. The program of the event Started with an introductory movie reflecting the uniqueness of the event relevant to the current socio, cultural recognition essential for mothers with disabled children. A real life successful story of “Mohamed” was also played to share the confidence and enthusiasm among the audience. The event was entertaining with poetry and operetta which was played by the well-wishers. The Ideal Mother Award which is being organized for the fifth year in a row by Al-Kharafi Activity Kids Center were presented to 20 mothers from Kuwait, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, the Kingdom of Bahrain, the Sultanate of Oman, Egypt, Jordan, and Lebanon. The distinguished mothers were honored for their enduring love and hope to raise and develop the children with intellectual disabilities. They were recognized for setting examples as role models by encouraging parents to cope with such situation and letting the society accept them with respect and care.
