ALSAYER RENEWS STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP WITH KNRC FOR 2026-2027

ALSAYER Group has renewed its strategic partnership with the Kuwait National Robotics Competition (KNRC) for the 2026–2027 season, reaffirming its commitment to empowering young people, advancing innovation, and supporting Kuwait’s transition toward a knowledge-based economy in line with Kuwait Vision 2035.

The partnership was announced during a press conference held on 4 October 2026 at Kuwait University, attended by representatives from ALSAYER Group, Kuwait University, educational institutions, and strategic partners.

The collaboration reflects a shared commitment to nurturing future generations through science, technology, engineering, and innovation initiatives that equip students with the skills required to succeed in an increasingly digital world.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Mohamed Naser Al-Sayer, Executive Board Member and Chairman of the Sustainability Committee at ALSAYER Group, said:

He added that KNRC has become a leading platform for developing creativity, critical thinking, problem-solving, and technological capabilities among students. The competition provides participants with valuable opportunities to explore robotics, automation, and artificial intelligence, while strengthening the leadership and teamwork skills needed to support Kuwait’s future economic and technological progress.

Dr. Haider Behbehani, Acting Dean of the College of Science at Kuwait University, highlighted the important role of academic institutions in fostering innovation and scientific excellence. He noted that collaboration among universities, the private sector, and government entities is essential to developing national talent.

“The Kuwait National Robotics Competition has evolved into an important educational platform that encourages students to transform theoretical knowledge into practical innovation. Through initiatives such as KNRC, students gain valuable hands-on experience in emerging technologies while developing the analytical and creative skills needed to address future challenges. Kuwait University remains committed to supporting programs that inspire scientific curiosity and strengthen Kuwait’s innovation ecosystem.”

Eng. Ibrahim Al-Fouzan, Senior Business Director of Toyota Group Service Division and Vice Chairman of the ALSAYER Sustainability Committee, emphasized the educational value of robotics competitions:

Beyond technical knowledge, participants develop problem-solving, collaboration, resilience, and adaptability, all of which are essential in today’s technology-driven environment.
