ALSAYER Fuels Future Tech Skills at Kuwait National Robotics Competition 2025–2026

After several qualifying rounds, Kuwait’s grand robotics competition is progressing towards the National Level challenge scheduled for February 2026, aiming to identify the finest talents to represent international competitions. At a strategic level, ALSAYER Group was invited to share its vision and role alongside other key partners, emphasizing their support for KNRC and their commitment to investing in young, talented individuals. This session highlighted the incredible efforts KNRC has made over the years, along with the supporting partners, and their aspirations for the new season of 2025-2026, aiming to set new benchmarks in the competition.

The Group is proud to stand alongside the students, teachers and organizers who have dedicated their time and effort to prepare the students for the National Championship stage this February, reinforcing our mission to empower youth through technology, learning, and innovation. Designing, building and coding robots is a great way to create an inclusive and supportive environment for diverse students to explore STEM opportunities.

Mohammed Naser Al Sayer, Executive Board Member and Chairman of the Sustainability Committee of ALSAYER Group notes that, “our commitment reflects ALSAYER’s belief in the power of education, innovation, and collaboration. Such programs unite students to learn how to build a system from scratch, enhance it, and resolve issues to succeed in competitions. Through this championship, we aim to help young people unlock their potential, strengthen problem-solving skills, and build confidence to become future leaders.

Dr. Haider Behbehani, Acting Dean of the College of Science at Kuwait University, expressed his gratitude towards the private and public organizations that have supported this initiative and highlighted that, “it is a proud moment to see our effort and investment towards KNRC with students developing high technological solutions and designing innovate robots. With this, students can showcase their creativity to the world and represent Kuwait as a hub of innovation, development, and technological advancements.”

Eng. Nehad Al-Haj Ali, Group Manager of the Corporate Excellence Department noted that, “ALSAYER Group also emphasized the importance of inspiring future generations by integrating robotics and technology into education at an early stage. By fostering curiosity and encouraging hands-on learning, the Group believes that students will not only gain technical expertise but also develop teamwork, leadership, and creativity—skills that are essential for building a sustainable and innovative future for Kuwait.”

ALSAYER Group emphasizes that this achievement is possible thanks to strong public–private collaboration with the Department of Computer Science at Kuwait University’s College of Science, the Ministry of Education, the Youth Public Authority, and private organizations dedicated to empowering youth and advancing Kuwait Vision 2035. A step towards the right direction for youth development and technological skill development.
