ALSAYER Group Engages Children in Creative Upcycling and Planting for a Greener Future

ALSAYER Group recently partnered with TruBound Academy to host an upcycling & planting workshop at FLEX Family on July 5, 2026, reaffirming its dedication to environmental stewardship and sustainable practices. TruBound Academy is a Kuwaiti-owned football academy that specializes in developing kids football talent from ages 4-15. The initiative aimed to raise awareness among youth about upcycling, an innovative approach to reducing waste by transforming discarded materials into practical, everyday items. This effort reflects the Group’s ongoing commitment to sustainability, environmental education, and responsible resource management, while inspiring the community to embrace greener lifestyles.

During the event, participants engaged in a hands-on activity where they repurposed used water jugs into decorative planting containers. This do-it-yourself (DIY) exercise encouraged creativity, active learning, and environmental consciousness, while highlighting the positive impact of responsible consumption and waste reduction.

Commenting on the initiative, Mr. Nehad Al Haj Ali, Group Manager of the Corporate Excellence Department at ALSAYER Group, emphasized that sustainability begins with awareness and empowerment. He noted that upcycling & Planting activities provide valuable opportunities for Kuwait’s youth to explore innovative ways of supporting sustainability through practical experiences and creative engagement.

ALSAYER Group remains steadfast in its mission to educate younger generations on practices that strengthen both the community and the environment, fostering a mindset that will drive positive change for years to come.
