ALSAYER Group opens doors for young women to pursue STEM careers.

At ALSAYER Group, we proudly stand with the global community in celebrating the International Day of Women and Girls in Science. This day reminds us of the critical importance of ensuring that women and girls are not only welcomed into science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) fields, but are also given the tools, opportunities, and recognition they deserve to thrive.

Our efforts are rooted in guiding principles, making sure representation matters, providing constant support, and investing in the next generation. Through initiatives like partnering with the Kuwait National Robotics Competition, girls are encouraged to participate, and compete in displaying their well-crafted robots and drones, highlighting their strong technological capabilities.

Moreover, ALSAYER Group’s partnership with Horizon Educational helped bring in educational hydrogen fuel cell RC cars used to compete in long endurance races. Through this, Kuwait Universities College of Science collaborated with teachers from various schools in Kuwait to help teach them the materials of hydrogen powered RC cars and the important scientific, technological, and design components that will aid them to victory in the endurance races.

The Group also shifted their focus to students in schools, where students learned about renewable energies and their importance for sustaining a healthy future for our planet. Through the sessions held at NES, ALSAYER Groups’ collaboration with them ensured that there was fair representation for the girls involved, giving the platform to learn about the scientific elements of renewable energies and apply their design-technology skills in modifying specialized hydrogen fuel cell educational cars.

Mr. Mubarak Naser Al-Sayer, Chief Executive Officer of ALSAYER Group noted that, “we believe in nurturing curiosity from an early age. By supporting educational initiatives and outreach programs, we aim to spark a passion for discovery among young girls, showing them that science is not only accessible but also a powerful tool to shape the future.”
